Mission Statement

At Newham PRUs, through our belief in the power of personalised learning, we nurture and empower our children and young people to build kindness, resilience, and confidence. Through a supportive environment rooted in the Nurture Principles, SEND and trauma-informed practice, we guide them to overcome challenges, learn, achieve, develop essential skills, and build confidence in their abilities.

Our Vision 

At Newham PRUs we strive to provide a safe and nurturing space where our children and young people can discover their unique strengths, engage in learning and achieve, develop positive ‘habits for life’, and build the confidence to succeed in their education and beyond. 

Our Values

Our Values are our Habits For Life; Kindness, Confidence, Resilience. They are at the heart of what we do, ensuring we promote a nurturing, learning community with the welfare of our pupils, staff and community at its centre.

Nurture

Across the PRUs we are committed to ensuring the 6 Nurture Principles* underpin all the work we do. These principles are:
