SHORT TARGETED INTERVENTION COURSES (STIC)

STIC Programme

The STIC Programme is a short, intensive and evidence-based therapeutic programme addressing some of the root causes of challenging behaviour in schools. The programme aims to develop young people’s social and emotional skills, supporting them to build resilience, make positive relationships with peers and adults as well as to take care of their mental health.

Each course is facilitated by members of the Multidisciplinary and Pastoral teams and consists of six sessions delivered in a small group setting. Students progressively work through fundamental concepts and have a personalised workbook of key information, strategies and personal reflections to support their learning and development.

Attendance, engagement and impact are monitored through a set of qualitative and quantitative assessments. The STIC programme delivery and content is routinely reviewed and updated to respond to the evolving needs of our transient school population.

Please see the course guide below for detailed information on each course.
